As I preformed our Ostara ritual with Aphrodite's Bee, we gave offerings, prayers, dance, and sweet incense to call to Aphrodite, as she represents spring with the promise of growth sown out of love.
I felt a great weight take me over and I fell to the floor. I felt great sadness and anger which tore at my heart. From this came the words:
"This is a time to rise up, all of nature is in rebirth. Love makes all things new. Hate is an easy emotion. Love requires honesty, devotion, and it is sometimes painful. Love commands and compels you to act.
Your hatred angers me, saddens me, and tears as me, You were brought into this world to love and return love as well.
Return to US, return to the great love of the Gods and Goddesses. For hatred drives you away from the Divine. You will never be happy without it. Hatred will rot your soul and divide you all. Look at yourselves in the mirror and see what you are showing, Hate also rots all live around you. For without love, all we have dies...
Come back to us. Love changes you. Hate creates false power and can only do harm. The ones who use hatred fall, as it clouds them from reality."
After this, I saw her crying and it made me weeep - it is horrible to feal pain from such a loving Goddess. I hope anyone who reads this invests their time in love and stays away from hate.
