I saw Hekate as a fiery woman - she held the world between her hands - she was furious and her anger raged through me - she feels stifled, misunderstood, and deeply hurt
"I was here eons before you
The Earth was a gift for you and future generations
For millennia I have watched over you
Look around
If you could see the world through my eyes
If you know how hard we worked to bring this gift to you
You would understand how I curse those who are poisoning the land and waters
You use us, you don't take time to honor us
You would not be here without our aid
Yet you distort our truths and ask us to harm others
You are doing the harm, we weep for you"
This left me in tears - many do not know the scope of Hekate's power and only refer to her as a crone or dark Goddess, ignoring the fact that she is the maiden with ruddy feet who rules the three realms. She is a torch-bearer who gives light to those in darkness and also guides souls through the veil.
